Establishing the pioneering standard for constructing healthy human-derived gut microbiota biobanks, we are building microbiota repositories across China and forming the China Microbiota Consortium. This initiative aims to preserve the diversity of gut microbiota in the healthy Chinese population, safeguard the security of China’s gut microbiota genetic data , contribute to the protection of human genetic resources, and provide a solid foundation for the industrialization of microbiome-based medicine. We have established fully standardized and digitized core technologies encompassing the entire process of gut microbiota isolation, preparation, quality control, storage, and transportation. As the world's only industrialized gut microbiota isolation platform holding the comprehensive “Six-in One” Certifications – namely, the Administrative License for Collection of Human Genetic Resources and the Administrative License for Preservation of Human Genetic Resources from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Class II Microbiological Laboratory Registration, CNAS Accreditation, Medical Ethics Approval, and GMP-certified Cleanroom Certification – we embody “Chinese Wisdom,” establish “Chinese Standards,” formulate the “China Approach,”and build the “China Brand.”
